However, their relationship is tested when an uninvited man (Ed Harris) and woman (Michelle Pfeiffer) come to their home. The star-studded cast does not intimidate Aronofsky, the author of Requiem for a Dream and Pi. It is probable that this is his most radical work, which from the day of its release, has been triggering extreme emotions and dividing spectators as well as critics like no film before.
