Juliette Delventhal and Paweł Kruk (USA/Poland)

  • Juliette Delventhal 
    • born on November 10, 1976 in San Francisco (USA) Juliette Delventhal holds a degree in cultural anthropology from the University of California Santa Cruz. Since 2004 she has been working as a professional cook, honing and sharing her skills in Europe and the USA. From 2007 to 2009 she was head chef at Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito, California.She has worked in various kitchens,including Chez Panisse in Berkeley, CA and The American Academy in Rome, and has worked as a cooking instructor to children and adults. She lives and works in San Francisco.

  • Paweł Kruk 
    • born on July 1, 1976 in Koszalin (Poland), performance and video artist, Pawel Kruk holds a degree in drawing from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan (Poland). He participated in the Advanced Art Course with Marina Abramovic hosted by Fondazione Antonio Ratti in Como (Italy) and was granted several residencies, including one at CCA Kitakiushu (Japan) and another at Headlands Center for the Arts (USA). He moved to San Francisco from Warsaw in 2008 and has been a permanent resident of the United States since. A finalist for the 2010 SECA Award at SFMOMA. In 2010 he was granted a residency at Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam, the Nederlands. In addition to several solo exhibitions in Poland and USA, his work has been featured in group exhibitions across the globe.
