Virginija Januškevičiūtė

a lithuanian curator and graduate of the Vilnius Academy of Arts, Virginija is the founder of a series of pamphlets, "The Baltic Notebooks of Anthony Blunt". She currently works at the Contemporary Art Centre in Vilnius, where she supervises the Baltic Triennial of International Art. She is interested in institutional strategies combined with non-conventional contemporary art forms. She was curator for The Nineties exhibition, which explored the topic of Lithuanian culture in the contexts of technological progress and post-colonialism, the Proteus exhibition, organised together with philosopher and imagination theorist Kristupas Sabolius and Intermission, an exhibition touching upon the role of the artist as social orator. Between 2004 and 2007, she was connected with the CAC TV television channel.
