PUBLIC A-I-R

How do we decide how to use our resources: feelings, knowledge, professional and social connections? How our daily activities and experiences – food, work, architecture, cultural participation – can provide us with practical material for reflecting on the circulation of goods? The Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art residencies curators and participants invite everyone to join for workshops, interventions and presentations, all more or less closely related to the subject of alternative economies.

PUBLIC A-I-R will feature Brave New Alps (Italian designers Bianca Elzenbaumer and Fabio Franz), Alena Boika (Czech curator), Bureau of Melodramatic Research (Romanian artists Irina Gheorghe and Alina Pop), Juliette Delventhal (US chef), Pau Faus (Spanish architect), Ariel Reichman (Israeli artist), Stas Volyazlovsky (Ukrainian artist), Dorota Podlaska & Ngo Van Tuong, Kolektyw Syrena, Warszawska Kooperatywa Spożywcza, and many others.

The project is curated by Marianna Dobkowska, Anna Ptak and Ika Sienkiewicz-Nowacka.
