Programme for July, August and September
In summer, we instinctively seek out the shade. We step out of the sun and under the canopy of trees, behind the thick stone walls of buildings —anywhere we can catch our breath.
At Ujazdowski Castle, shade is always within reach — in the galleries, the cinema, the library and the bookshop. But the CCA doesn’t stop at the door. The park is an integral part of it — a place to meet, unwind and talk.
This summer, we are stepping out of the sun to see more clearly. Shade also offers a space for the things we rarely talk about in broad daylight. In our exhibitions, we look at art created in the shadow of war, at what happens under the cover of the marshy borderlands, at how we behave in times of crisis, and at the stories of those who have become invisible in society.
Throughout the summer—July, August, September—something is always happening at the CCA. We invite you to workshops, guided tours, morning movement sessions, and weekly meetings with artists. Not to remain a spectator from a safe distance, but to engage with art, share your own perspective, and explore together what lies in the shadow, in the places you haven't yet looked.
So, dive into the programme. Or catch a moment of respite in the shade, lie back in a hammock, read a book, and stay a little longer than you planned.
