Collage workshop with Monika Proniewska
On the third day of the Nobody Reads This: Art Book Fair, on Sunday 24 May 2026 at 2:00 p.m., visual artist and designer Monika Proniewska will lead a collage workshop.
How can we translate selected illustration fragments, out-of-context engravings, and forgotten photographs into a contemporary visual language and use them in cover, poster, or postcard design? We will treat collage as a platform for visual experimentation and building relationships between shape, color, and texture. We provide all materials and tools.
- Monika Proniewska
- a graphic designer and illustrator specialising in book design, visual identification, posters, and ephemera. She has collaborated with the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, the Museum of Warsaw, Vogue Polska, the Nowy Teatr, and the National Museum in Warsaw. Her projects combine hand-cut patterns and abstract shapes with modernist typography. She is the co-author and designer of the photobook Velvet flowers & melting views, published by the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art.
