The inhabitants of an Italian town know that Marcello, a local dog hairdresser, would not dare hurt a fly. Inconspicuous, but liked by all, he divides his time between work, raising his daughter and, occasionally, the cocaine trade. He successfully avoids trouble, at least until Simone appears—shaking the entire area up—who is constantly high. When he once again exploits Marcello's naivety, the dog hairdresser will have to bite back.
