  • Jakub Matusewicz
    • (born 1999) a painter, maker of objects and installations. He graduated from a fine arts secondary school in Poznań. In 2022, he defended his BA thesis entitled Odbicie. Co widzi obraz?  [Reflection. What does the painting see?] at the Faculty of Painting and Drawing, the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań, in the atelier of Prof. Wojciech Gorączniak. He graduated with a master’s degree in painting in 2024. He creates paintings (with the use of traditional painting techniques), as well objects and installations. In his work he moves beyond figuration, abstraction and the convention of traditional, rectangular canvasses.
