Claudia Clare gives a tour of the Claudia's Clare exhibition Feminist satire. No safe spaces

The Ujazdowski Castle Center for Contemporary Art invites you to an author's guided tour of the Claudia's Clare exhibition  Feminist satire. No safe spaces. Artist will talk about her works and their contexts.

Claudia Clare (born 1962) is an artist whose work they don't want us to see. To them, Clare is an Islamophobe, a transphobe and a whorephobe. But for those who can see beyond the labels, Clare is a satirical ceramicist who transforms the darkest stories into works of exquisite beauty.

Her works have exhibited by public museums and private galleries, and even pop-up spaces in shopping centres. Latterly, she has colaborated with grassroots women's organizations, incorporating the ritual vase-breaking into the practice of feminist activism. But for over a decade, Clare's career has been punctuated by controversy and cancellation.

As part of the {Art from a Perspective...} series, each exhibition can be viewed many times - each time from a different perspective: a curator, an artist, an educator, a volunteer helping with the exhibition, an architect, a psychologist, a journalist, a choreographer, a linguist and many others. There can be an infinite number of perspectives, and the only limitation is the duration of the exhibition.
