Heart of a dog, a film directed by the singer and performer Laurie Anderson, is a meditative journey into the artist’s inner world, full of music, dreams and landscapes of New York. Anderson shares her thoughts on life, death and the teachings of Buddhism, remembers her closest relationships with humans and animals. Surprising and innovative, the film is an extraordinary tribute to husband Lou Reed and beloved terrier Lollabelle, premiered at the 2015 Venice International Film Festival.
