  • The latest film by Anna Jadowska, director of the acclaimed Wild Roses (2017), with a moving performance by Dorota Pomykała, awarded the Best Actress Prize at this year’s Gdynia Film Festival.
    • Mira, a respected midwife about to retire, lives with her husband and adult son. The morning begins as usual: Mira is busy with the daily household chores, hangs up the laundry, buys food for the fish and then… robs a bank using a kitchen knife.
  • The sensational plot twist becomes the starting point of an existential drama: a psychological study of a woman at her limit. Jadowska’s film is a moving portrait of helplessness and loneliness among closest people, which, accumulated over the years, sooner or later will lead to disaster.
