Screenwriter and director Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird) has decided to tackle the cult novel Little Women, written and illustrated by Louisa May Alcott. Gerwig examines the author’s alter ego, Jo March, reaching for the fictitious life that she leads in her imagination. This interpretation of the beloved story of the four March sisters, each determined to live in her own way, is both timeless and deeply rooted in reality.
