Music programme
The music programme of the Ujazdowski Castle CCA will be developed from the ground up – beginning with the sounds that resonate through the Castle and its surroundings; through the ways in which the building and its setting shape what can be heard and what remains unheard; towards an understanding of how both physical and institutional spaces problematise the act of listening. Ultimately, it is listening – our own and that of others – that enables us to grasp the environment we co-create. These questions provide both the starting point and the thematic horizon for the Castle’s music programme, which will include concerts, installations, workshops, seminars, and other sound-focused activities.
