  • Farzaneh (Taraneh Alidoosti) is a driving instructor. One day she spots a man on a bus who looks just like her husband Jalal (Navid Mohammadzadeh). She follows him and sees him enter an unfamiliar building, where he is warmly welcomed by the neighbours and meets another woman. Farzaneh, who is three months pregnant, is convinced that she has caught Jalal cheating on her. However, the truth will turn out to be much more complicated.
    • Subtraction is a gripping psychological thriller and a bold commentary on the divided Iranian society.
