Mirai is an intimate story of a nascent jealousy that enters into the life of 5-year-old Kun with the arrival of her younger sister, Mirai. The director based the story on his son‘s behavior. Into reality—as always—he introduced a magical layer: Kun discovers that in the garden behind the house, he is able to time travel.
