Naszość – tylko dla nienormalnych – Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art

A group of Poznań residents, forming the Naszość Alternative Action in the 1990s, devises happenings ridiculing politicians and communist activists, and organises protests against Putin’s criminal activities. The intergenerational and ideologically diverse group, headed by Piotr Lisiewicz, also publishes the periodical Naszość – tylko dla nienormalnych [Naszość – For the Abnormal Only], featuring drawings and poems created by the group members.

Their skirmishes with the judicial system, the police and the media become the story of an unknown list of peculiar taboos of that era. They also show the universal and anti-totalitarian power of laughter and human creativity.

Magdalena Piejko’s documentary takes a tender and humorous look at the history of this organisation and its activities.
