- There is a lot happening in Polish cinema. For the last several years Polish films and their young creators have been appreciated at foreign film festivals. These films are shown and commented on around the world, but interest rarely reaches beyond the closed circle of the film industry.
- It is very difficult for viewers outside of the industry to see these films – usually short films, documentaries, experiments, which finish their festival life with lots of awards, but often without the possibility of being presented to a wider audience.
- With this new cycle at the U–jazdowski, we want to give moviegoers the opportunity to confront this new young energy that is buzzing in Polish cinema.
- We will talk with the creators, not just about their films, but also about their place in the production chain and its influence on cinema.
