Michael is 28 years old. He is a Polish lawyer, who speaks fluent German, lives and works in Berlin. Berlin offers him variety, future, success. Michael consciously chooses to become a part of a multicultural metropolis. He sees breaking ties with Poland as a chance to find and create his own self. One day, he meets his father, whom he has never seen before, and spends a weekend with him.
