Hug me. Honeyseekers
[Przytul mnie. Poszukiwacze miodu], directed by Anna Błaszczyk, Poland / China 2022, 70'
- Hug Me. Honeyseekers is not only the first full-length Polish animated film for young viewers in many years, but also a screen adaptation of the bestselling books Hug Me, Please! by Przemysław Wechterowicz and Emilia Dziubak. In order to make his dream of a unique cake come true, Little Bear will have to convince Daddy Bear that wandering through the forest towards the Golden Land can be nice and prove that he is old enough to set off on an unknown adventure. Obscure clues given by the bees lead the Bears to the edge of the forest, where for the first time they will face the mysterious and unpredictable world of humans.
- What will this extraordinary expedition mean to our protagonists? One thing is certain: this warm story about father-son relationship will melt the most hardened hearts and cover them with warm honey. Hug Me. Honeyseekers is also the perfect choice for a Saint Nicholas Day trip to the cinema. A Christmas episode included in the screenings will satisfy any little cinema lover and enchant the older viewers with its magical atmosphere.
