An energetic, adrenaline-fuelled story of love for motorbikes, speed and, above all, freedom.
Julia (Julie Ledru) is an outsider in search of thrill and in love with speed. What makes her genuinely happy are the noise of motorbikes and the smell of burning petrol. To get a new vehicle, she will stop at nothing, which attracts the attention of a local motorbike gang. Julia desperately wants to enter a male-dominated world that seems inaccessible to her. Filled with anger at the reality around her, she feels that it is the only place where she could be herself. However, she must realise that everything has a price.
The film was awarded in the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival.
