Roving Woman

- Los Angeles, 2022. After a brawl with her boyfriend, Sara loses her home and livelihood. Wearing an evening gown and empty-handed, she hits the road. She tries to return to her hometown and reconcile with her mother, but the journey takes an unexpected turn. Sara steals a car and sets off. On the road, looking through the items left in the car, she becomes fascinated with its owner. As she travels across the Californian deserts, she meets extraordinary but lost people who, like her, are searching for their own path.
- Roving Woman owes its unique atmosphere to the lead actress Lena Góra (who co-wrote the film), a suggestive episode role by John Hawkes (known for Winter’s Bone and the series Deadwood), music by Teonika Rożynek and cinematography by Łukasz Dziedzic, which brings out the unobvious beauty of the Mojave Desert.
