We invite you to a special screening of L'immensità followed by a meeting with psychologist and psychotherapist Joanna Gutral on Thursday 27/04/2023 at 18:00.
- Rome, 1970s. A time of important social and cultural change, full of glitz and glamour. The young Borghetti family has just moved into a newly built apartment block. The move feels bittersweet. The view of Rome from the top floor is amazing indeed, but the family members are growing apart. Clara’s unique relationship with her children becomes an escape from loneliness. Soon, however, her marital problems begin to take their toll on the children.
- Right after the screening we invite you to a talk with Joanna Gutral who will help us to notice and understand the psychological mechanisms and processes that influence the characters’ behaviour and motivations.
- Joanna Gutral
- psychologist and certified cognitive-behavioural psychotherapist, member of the Polish Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies. She graduated with honours from the Postgraduate School of Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapy at SWPS University (2016-2020), where she also obtained her Master’s degree in Psychology (2015). She provides individual therapy to adults and young adults for mood disorders, anxiety disorders and certain personality disorders. She is affiliated with the SWPS University in Warsaw as researcher and scholar. Her work also encompasses the issue of stigmatization of mentally ill people, psychoeducation and mental health promotion which she does through her podcast Gutral Gada.
