Disney and Pixar’s Turning Red introduces Mei Lee, a confident, crazy 13-year-old torn between being her mummy’s good girl and a turbulent adolescence. Her protective but somewhat intrusive mother, Ming, is always by her daughter’s side, which immensely bothers Mei Lee. As if she didn’t have enough of the constant changes in her hobbies, relationships and her own body! As soon as Mei gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she transforms into a giant red panda! The film is directed by Academy Award winner Domee Shi (for the Pixar short film Bao) and produced by Lindsey Collins.
