Contact High is a term for an induced high that occurs in otherwise sober people who come into contact with someone who is under the influence of drugs. That's the movie! Glawogger trips out moviegoers with these 90s vibes, and this effect is achieved not only by the specific language that the characters use, or by the series of absurd events interwoven into a simple gangster story about two losers recovering a gangster’s bag, but primarily by locating the action in Poland. Colliding the Austrian mentality with Viennese realities produces an effect stronger than hallucinogenic mushrooms.
