The screening accompanies the exhibition Ukraine. Under a Different Sky.
    • Erase the Nation is a documentary showing the destruction on Ukraine’s cultural heritage by the troops of the Russian Federation since 24 February 2022. The production shows the deliberate destruction of Ukrainian monuments from Lviv, Chernihiv, Ivankiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv to Izyum and Bohorodychne in eastern Ukraine. Crimes committed against secular and religious cultural heritage, from archaeological monuments to modern libraries and schools. Statements by representatives of Ukrainian cultural circles paint a picture of a deliberate attack by barbaric invaders on Ukrainian identity, which Ukrainian heroes protect to death.
  • The documentary was commissioned by the National Institute of Cultural Heritage and financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
