Culture Tensions
A series of public discussions with artists, writers, curators, and thinkers will offer fresh, diverse perspectives on the pressing issues of our times.
Art and culture open doors and shine a light on the human condition and our relationship with the world, but not everyone agrees with artists’ visions or points of view, while artists also disagree with each other.
There are often tensions regarding political or religious beliefs manifested in public opinion and social media platforms, but through dialogue, we may be able to re-think our entrenched views and produce new ideas.
These friendly but tough conversations will bring together controversial guest speakers from the UK and Europe in order to discuss the important issues that affect our lives: migration, religion, women’s rights, gender and cultural identity, the European Union, and post-modern culture. There will be plenty of time for audience questions and comments.
