Emma Elliott

"My work is especially about anti-fascism"

Born in 1983, Emma Elliott studied at Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence, where she received a classical training in partraiture. Since moving back to the UK, she has developed her practice as a sculptor and is currently an associate member of the Royal Society of Sculptors. She returned to the Italy in 2012 to learn about marble and has been carving stone ever since. For Emma Elliott, art. Should seek out a communal reaction, a feeling or a discussion. She delights in the pshysical and tactile element of working in stone and the transfer of Energy into matter.
