Piotr Bosacki
- Guided tour in dialogue
-
In Piotr Bosacki's works, mathematical precision meets the organic and unpredictable. The artist creates systems that begin to escape control—demonstrating that mathematics and art are deeply intertwined.
During the tour, we will examine this tension between reason and intuition, and the processes by which structure transforms into living form.
The exhibition "Retina and Tessellation" is part of a series of individual presentations at Gallery 1 at the Studio Warehouse of the Collection of the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art.
About the series
Creative tours, during which we primarily discuss art and ask it questions—in various ways. The guide introduces participants to the history of the presented phenomena and the main themes of the exhibition. It explains the current shape of contemporary art, the social, political, and cultural changes that have had the greatest impact on it, and the breakthrough moments that shaped the artistic language artists use today.
This is a form of encounter with art that develops mindfulness, the ability to argue, and the ability to formulate independent judgments. Instead of ready-made answers, we propose shared thinking and action around art.
After the introduction, we invite participants to a conversation. The exhibition is not a closed story – it gains meaning in contact with the viewer. The viewer is not a passive observer, but a co-creator of meaning. The tour thus becomes a space for the exchange of thoughts, interpretations, and experiences. We discuss how we perceive the work, what moves us, what raises objections, and what questions arise.
The course of each meeting is individually planned before the visit to suit the level and interests of the group.
