PTV: Performance TV
Chapter 1
The post-performance researcher Marie de Brugerolle will look at what the TV studio and an artist’s studio have in common and whether television could be a source of conceptual art. After the interval, artist Oreet Ashery will present fragments of her web series about digital death – Revisiting Genesis. The high – or low – point of the evening will be a discussion about dying, in the format of the Death Café. Tea and cake provided. Dominika Olszowy will build a TV studio for the purpose of her new programme. In our cinema there will be the preview trailer of Block 4 produced by the Berlin art collective CONGLOMERATE TV.
