Minimising Transformation Needs

Mateusz Hadaś i Marcin Pietrucin
  • On December 11th at 7:00 PM, we invite you to the opening of Mateusz Hadaś and Marcin Pietrucin's exhibition, "Minimizing the Needs for Transformation." Admission is free.

Between a nursery rhyme and a burning transformer  this is where the story of the true logic of contemporary technical systems begins. The exhibition by Mateusz Hadaś and Marcin Pietrucin, Minimising Transformation Needs, reveals the hidden price of electricity  material, cognitive, and potentially political.

  • The artists show that behind the technocratic language of optimisation lies a technical system that, by its very nature, contains the possibility of failure and disaster. What official narratives present as neutral, rational engineering is in fact a constant balancing act between control and the ever-present threat of a short circuit.

  • We do our best to make the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art accessible to everyone  we would like to adapt the event to you and your needs. To help us do that, please contact our accessibility coordinator: dostepnosc@u-jazdowski.pl, no later than the Monday before the event.
