Daria Malicka

A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, currently is writing her PhD at alma mater and studying philosophy at the University of Silesia in Katowice. She creates small spatial forms, installations and collages. In her projects, she attempts to classify and organize hybrid forms and abnormal events which fascinate her. She imposes formal discipline upon the supernatural and her own fantasies. The leading themes of her work are sense and nonsense as well as the conscious and unconscious problems of linguistic psychoanalysis.
