Konrad Pustoła
(born in 1976) – graduate of Economy at Warsaw University (2003) and of Art at the Royal College of Art in London (2008). He won the main prize at the Polish Press Photo competition for his Sanna [Sleigh Ride] series (2001). Pustoła participated in numerous exhibitions, including Nowi Dokumentaliści [The New Documentalists] (2005) at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, Bloomberg New Contemporaries (2008) in London, Storia, Memoria, Identitia (2009) in Modena, PhotoEspaña (2010) in Madrid. In 2010 the artist published Dark Rooms, an album awarded at the Polish Reminiscencje [Reminescences] art catalogues and albums competition. Pustoła is a member of the “Krytyka Polityczna” [“Political Critique”] team.
