Julia Bui-Ngoc
Sculptor, director, dancer and choreographer. In 2011 she graduated from the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She developed her artistic sensitivity under Professor Grzegorz Kowalski in his multimedia atelier. Holder of the scholarship granted by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and by the Capital City of Warsaw. Author of several videos, theatre performances and short films. Her works have been awarded and exhibited on a number of occasions both in Poland and abroad, among others at the National Museum in Prague, Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, Japon Expo Nicea Festival (France) or Readymade Film Fest in Los Angeles. Connected with the Gardzienice theatre for many years. Founder of the School of Dancing with Combat Fans. Co-founder (together with Mai Bui-Ngoc) of the Bui Sisters duet.
