Wojtek Ziemilski
(born in 1977) is a theater director and visual artist. He creates works on the border of disciplines, using a variety of forms and media regarding performance and visual arts. Ziemilski completed a course in theater directing at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. In 2007, he realized the performance Hamlet Light at the Teatro Municipal de Faro. He collaborated with TR Warszawa, where he created, amongst others, the video installation Actors. He is the author of the performances: A Small Narration (2010), Map (2010), Prologue (2011), Relatives (2012). In KOMUNA/ /WARSZAWA, he directed two remixes: The Poor Theatre (2010) and Laurie Anderson. United States (2012).
