Natalia LL. Nie tylko Sztuka konsumpcyjna

Edited by Agata Jakubowska

Natalia LL is a recognized artist and, at the same time, paradoxically, a little-known one. At a time when many Eastern European female artists are only just being discovered by the art world, she has long occupied an important place in it. And yet, in principle, only one of her works – Consumer Art (1972–1975) – has been properly appreciated. No other work by Natalia LL has met with such interest from critics and art historians. Without belittling its significance, this publication focuses on showing the other aspects of Natalia LL‘s practice. While Consumer Art is also a subject of critical reflection here, other works from both the artist‘s early and most recent periods of work are analyzed too.

The English edition of this book is also available.
