Open Call: International Fellowship Mensch Maschine 2026
- The Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art joins as a new European partner of the Mensch Maschine programme, organised by JUNGE AKADEMIE, VISIT – the E.ON Foundation’s artist fellowship programme, and E-WERK Luckenwalde. Under the theme Mensch Maschine 2026: Mechanic Ghosts and Entangled Realities, the programme will award four fully funded international artist fellowships (each worth EUR 20,000).
- The initiative supports projects at the intersection of art, energy, and ecology, exploring the relationship between humans and machines within social, political, and environmental contexts. Artists from all disciplines are invited to apply, particularly those working with sound, performance, film, and literature/poetry. Selected fellows will undertake residencies at E-WERK Luckenwalde or the Akademie der Künste in Berlin between April and June 2026. The accompanying programme will include a Summer Network Meeting in Warsaw and a two-part Autumn School in September 2026.
- Application deadline: 16 November 2025.
