Anna Ostoya
(b. 1978) studied in Paris, Frankfurt and New York, where she currently lives and works. He works have been shown at, amongst other, Manifesta 7 in Rovereto (2008) and the Athens Biennale (2009).
Anna Ostoya transfers references to art history, literature and science into multithematic installations that form a point of convergence for various media including painting, sculpture collage, text, and sound. The Warsaw project is devoted to the avant-garde. It is a theoretical reflection that will serve the artist as a point of reference for the critical revision of the modern nostalgia for the avant-garde and activation of the social potential of art.
