Aslı Çavuşoğlu (Turkey)
Aslı Çavuşoğlu
is a visual artist originally from Istanbul. In 2004 she graduated Marmara University (BFA in Cinema-TV). She is interested in the way history can be read so as to question of the source, goal and the processes, which enabled its writing. In 2012 she was awarded by FullART Prize in Turkey. Recently her works were presented in The Delfina Foundation (London), Art Basel (Miami) and Gallery NON (Istanbul). During her residency she was cooperating with Nazlı Gürlek – curator and former Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art resident – over the organization of seminar Excuse My Dust.
