Dorota Jagoda Michalska (Poland/Great Britain)

Dorota Jagoda Michalska

is an art historian, critic and curator. Currently, she is finishing her PhD dissertation at the University of Oxford. Between 2013 and 2015, she was an Assistant Researcher at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Her articles and essays have appeared in such journals as ArtMargins, Afterall Online, L’Internationale and Kajet Journal. She has contributed to many catalogues such as the Venice Biennale (2019) and the Biennale Matter of Art in Prague (upcoming in 2022), among others. Her research concentrates on how experiences of coloniality, race and subalternity have shaped the field of visual art in post-war Poland.
