Ivan Svitlychnyi (Ukraine)

Ivan Svitlychnyi

born in 1988 in Kharkiv and graduated in 2012 from the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Art. The Laureate if the Malevich Award in 2018. In 2009 he founded and curated the TEC creative exposition centre in Kharkiv. In 2013 he co-founded the Shukhliada exhibition environment a virtual art space, platform to support independent art projects and integrate them with the latest technologies. In 2017 he participated in the 57th Venice Biennale (within the framework of the Parliament project), the Ukrainian Pavilion. In 2018 the artist took part in the transmediale Vorspiel festival 2018 (Berlin, Germany). Last year, in 2019, he visited Warsaw as a participant in the Digital Cultures assembly. He was nominated to Pinchuk Art Prize (2011, 2013, 2015, 2018).

During his residency Ivan Svytlychnyi is going to develop his project of online art space Shukhliada.
