Kasper Lemiesz (Poland)

Kasper Lemiesz

His interest in education started right after finishing it (formally). He says, that he became almost aggressively curious about the world and was particularly drown to the question of how learning could possibly be so painful, boring and ineffective in his whole schooling carrier, and now, gives him joy and is an abundant source of energy?

This question never left him. Today, 6 years later, the same question and thousand others that followed, took him on a journey from studying sociology and philosophy in Chicago and being hired with a position to bring restorative conflict engagement solutions at his uni to founding his own “tiny university” with a group of friends from across Poland. His activities include from teaching pedagogy in a higher education institution without having any degree to supporting as a facilitator and consultant a team of professors at the elders university in Poland. From visiting the most innovative learning spaces across Europe to studying facilitation, organisation change and nonviolent action under people like Miki Kashtan, Dominic Barter, Tsila Piran and Jac Jakubowski.
