Nazlı Gürlek (Turkey)

Nazlı Gürlek 

is a Turkish curator who lives in Istanbul. She works as Vice President of AICA (International Association of Art Critics) in Turkey. In 2006 she graduated (BA) in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and two years later she obtained MFA in Curating at Goldsmiths College in London (MFA). She was Assistant Curator of the Pavilion of Turkey at the 53rd Venice Biennale in 2009. She was also curator-in-residence at the CCA Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw in July 2013. Nazli Gurlek works and lives in Istanbul. During her residency she will be cooperating with Asli Çavuşoğlu over the organization of seminar "Excuse My Dust". The seminar will be devoted to the representation of the history in artistic and exhibition activities.
