Pavel Sterec
(b. 1985) lives and works in Prague. He studied at Prague’s Academy of Fine Art under Jiri Kovanda and Valdimir Skrepel as well as in the guest studio of Zbigniew Libera. He founded the Pavillion Gallery in 2008 with Jan Pfeiffer. Pavel Sterec’s work often has a performative source and is built around episodic events. He is interested in places where the ritual of repetition is typical where the daily choreography is easy to capture. www.pavelsterec.org
