Vladyslav Riaboshtan
(born in 1996) is a painter, photographer, and a designer. Dnipro Theatre and Art College and National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture alumnus. An active participator in exhibitions and projects since 2014. In his works, he researches the themes of industrial and railway landscapes, as well as the theme of an industrial heritage. He works mostly with oil, acrylic, and enamel and experiments with techniques and various media. Vladyslav was born and raised in an industrial city, still very much rooted in the soviet reality. Since childhood, he has been surrounded by post-soviet landscapes: factories, railways, a never completed metro stations. Even after moving away, he was still drawn to such locations. One of his latest projects is a collection of images depicting Kyiv Metro. He's currently working on a series focusing on the war in Ukraine. As long as the war goes on – the series will continue.
Vladyslav Riaboshtan takes part in an Emergency Residency, a project of monthly residencies for Ukrainian artists, established in reaction to Russia's military aggression in Ukraine in 2022. This residency is organized with the financial support of Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in partnership with culture.pl, Zachęta – National Gallery of Art and Centre of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko. Project is supported by Meta Company.

2012—2016 рр. – навчання в Дніпровському театрально-художньому коледжі; 2016-2022 - навчання в Національній академії образотворчого мистецтва і архітектури; участь у виставках та проектах з 2014 р. Художник, фотограф, дизайнер. У своїх роботах досліджує тему індустріального та залізничного пейзажу, та тему промислової спадщини. Рябоштан експериментує з різними техніками та медіа, але здебільшого працює з маслом, акрилом і емаллю. Владислав народився та виріс у промисловому місті, яке не відійшло від радянського типу мислення. З дитинства його оточували пострадянські пейзажі, заводи, залізниця, недобудоване метро. Він намагався знайти подібні локації, навіть переїхавши в інше місто. Одним із останніх проектів до війни була велика серія Київського метро. Серія, над якою художник працює зараз, присвячена війні в Україні. Поки йде війна - серія продовжується.
