Zuzanna Szymłowska

Zuzanna Szymłowska is a student of the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, who also studied at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Her interests concern the intertwining of biotic and abiotic entities, which manifest themselves in the form of interstices and crevices in the structure of the city. In her design practice, inspired by observations, she seeks to activate materials to cooperate with the organisms that inhabit them. Her previous activities also include the practice of building relationships between humans and non-human beings by engaging neighbours in the process of community work for local biocenoses in Warsaw. Her latest material interests include clay and straw.
