GALAS
Residency as part of the Common Field project
Vladyslav Gryn is a volunteer, activist, co-founder of the Galas collective. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he has been working with the BLYZKIST collective and the Dom Kultury Słonecznik cultural centre at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. He is involved in activities for the integration of migrants and refugees in Polish society through community projects and cultural activities.
Taras Gembik is a cultural worker and performer. Director of the Roma Community Centre in Warsaw, co-founder of the BLYZKIST (“closeness”) collective and the Dom Kultury Słonecznik cultural centre at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. He also runs an anti-crisis film club together with the Daj Herbatę Foundation for people in the crisis of homelessness.
