  • Rooted in a personal geography that spans Switzerland, Puerto Rico, and the United States, Sebastián Dávila’s work grapples with territory, distance, and creolisation. Species, motifs, and matter are displaced and mutated, spurred on by the forces of global exchange and imperial histories. These collisions generate an unstable terrain —a “third geography” where dissonance gives way to fleeting moments of wonder.
