Pro-environmental workshops and training courses for Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art staff and artists-in-residence
The Green Team project aims to strengthen the ecological awareness and digital competences of Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art staff members and artists-in-residence. The project provides for interdisciplinary cooperation between artists and scholars in the form of art-and-natural-science workshops addressed to the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art team. The workshops will focus mainly on the natural and geological values of the space around Ujazdowski Castle and the Warsaw Escarpment. In addition to the educational and cognitive aspects of these activities, their recreational and integrative nature is also important, especially in the difficult time of the institution’s transformation. The project also provides for the founding of the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art Green Team – an advisory body consisting of staff members, whose aim will be to recommend pro-ecological solutions for the institution and support the process of its ecologization. In addition, specialist research will be commissioned as part of the project, including soil analysis and a natural inventory of the surroundings of Ujazdowski Castle.
