Magdalena Abakanowicz
Magdalena Abakanowicz is one of the most notable sculptors of the 20th century with her trademark series of monumental soft sculptures, Abakans. The book presents most of the artist‘s sculptural series from the 1960s to 1990s, including over 100 colour and black-and-white photographs, essays by Michael Brenson and Jasia Reichardt, author‘s comments on her works, as well as memories and reflections. In addition: introduction by Wojciech Krukowski, text by Ryszard Stanisławski, as well as a biography, an extensive list of exhibitions and the artist‘s bibliography. All texts are in Polish.
