A catalogue of Mirosław Bałka‘s exhibition, Fragment – a retrospective summary spanning over twelve years, covering his video works from the oldest, from 1998, to those never previously published. It presents the unique role played by video in Bałka‘s work. In his videos, the artist was able to introduce new artistic forms, paintings and motifs – an unexpected extension of his main artistic activity as a sculptor.
